OPEN HOUSE—Designing for the Birds aka Put A Bird In It

OPEN HOUSE—a creative interpretation any bird would be proud to call home.

WeMake is celebrating our fourth year at Design Week with an Open House and the return of our anticipated bird house maker competition and auction. We used to call the event Put a Bird It, but this year, we've dubbed in an Open House - for birds and people. Come check out our headquarters, get a awesome birdhouse, drink, be merry, and make all while supporting arts education!

Open House will feature 41 custom birdhouses crafted by local artists, makers and designers. All the houses will be auctioned off with proceeds benefiting The Right Brain Initiative, a Portland-based arts education advocacy program supporting K-8 students.

MUSIC, DRINKS, LIVE SILK-SCREENING by GOLDEN RULE DESIGN, and RAD BIRDHOUSES FOR AUCTION!

AUCTION BIDDING CLOSES AT 8:30 PM
FREE AND OPEN TO EVERYONE

Guest Judges:
Rilla Alexander: Illustrator/Designer
Anna Nakamoto: Portland Audubon Society
Joseph Clifford Blanchette: Artist/Arts Advocate
